PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing colored aluminum pigment excellent in polarizing property and capable of realizing variegated colors. SOLUTION: This polarized colored aluminum pigment containing aluminum substrate particles, transparent metal oxide particles attached to the surface of the aluminum substrate particles and colored pigment attached on the surface of the aluminum substrate particles is characterized by having 0.01-0.1μm range mean primary particle diameter of the transparent metal oxide particles. The polarized colored aluminum pigment contains preferably 10-200 pt. mass transparent metal oxide particles and 0.5-50 pt. mass range coloring pigment based on 100 pts. mass aluminum substrate particles.
