PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out a dynamic lighting control with respect to a number of light emitting elements without increasing load on a CPU and software. SOLUTION: A divider circuit 2 divides an internal clock signal of the CPU 1 to generate a driving clock and output the driving clock to a shift register 3 and the CPU 1. Shift operation of the shift register 3 corresponding to the driving clock switches common signal lines as control targets of a common driving circuit 4 to apply sequential driving voltage to the common signal lines C0-C3. The CPU 1 outputs lighting control signals to respective segment signal lines S0-S2 at a timing corresponding to the driving clock. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
