PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger provided with an air removal hole capable of preventing generation of sound when an air accumulation part stayed in an upper tank is removed and effectively inhibiting leakage of a liquid before heat exchange. SOLUTION: The air removal hole 6 having a projection edge 61 to a downstream side is formed on an upper part of a partition plate 5 partitioning an upstream tank 2 of the heat exchanger 1. The air accumulation part A accumulated at the upstream of the partition plate 5 is continuously discharged by every appropriate amount while inhibiting the leakage of the liquid.
