<p>A mounting rail for mounting plate-shaped elements, such as form instance gypsum boards. The mounting rail (2, 3) is provided with a groove (6) designed to receive an edge section of a plate-shaped element, which groove (6) has two essentially parallel sidewalls (7a, 7b) intended to bear on either side of the plate-shaped element when an edge section thereof is inserted into the groove (6). At least one of said sidewalls (7a, 7b) is provided with holding members (10), which protrude from the associated sidewall (7a, 7b) into the groove (6) and are intended to penetrate into the plate-shaped element when it is pressed into the groove in a direction towards the bottom (9) of the groove so as to thereby hold said edge section in place in the groove. The invention also relates to a method for mounting plate-shaped elements.</p> |
