COIL-LIKE FIBER SUBSTANCE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME AND APPLICATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil-like fiber substance having new properties and to provide a method for producing the fiber substance and to provide application thereof.

SOLUTION: The coil-like fiber substance has a coating layer composed of a substance having electric resistance higher than that of a conductive fiber on the surface of the conductive fiber forming a coil shape. The method for producing the coil-like fiber substance comprises providing the coating layer on the surface of the coil-like carbon fiber, removing the coil-like carbon fiber while leaving the coating layer and packing a substance having electric resistance lower than that of the coil-like hollow fiber into a hollow part of the coil-like hollow fiber composed of the left coating layer.
