PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply carry out a payment operation related to trade transaction from a debtor to a creditor.

SOLUTION: The debtor transmits payment guide data from a debtor terminal 16 to a server 10 (S102), and the server 10 transmits payment guide annunciation e-mail to the creditor (S104). The creditor accesses the server 10 to browses a payment guide document (S106) to carry out an approval operation (S114). In the server 10, the status of approval/disapproval is recorded (S118), and payment data are created based on the payment guide data according to a payment instruction (S122) from the debtor terminal 16 (S132), and downloaded into the debtor terminal 16. The payment data can be created by the debtor terminal 16 as well (S126 and S128), and the payment data can be directly transmitted to a financial institute from the server 10 (S136). In another embodiment, the debtor may be allowed to pay without waiting for the approval of the creditor.
