<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of easily confirming a state of photographing an object, in performing a manual shifting operation. <P>SOLUTION: In the digital camera, exposure control parameters (aperture, shutter speed, gain) for main photographing are set by the manual shifting operation of the photographer (step SP20). Exposure control parameters for live view image photographing are determined according to the details of the above setting (step SP30). Specifically, the same value as that of main photographing is used for an aperture value. Also, the combination of shutter speed and gain are changed into a combination having the same exposure state as that in the main photographing, depending on conditions. After that, an image acquired by the exposure control parameters for live view image photographing are displayed as a live view image on a liquid crystal display (LCD) on the back of the digital camera (steps SP40, SP50). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
