<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage-type water heater surely preventing the breakage of a boundary face between the hot water and the cold water in a horizontally long hot water storage tank. <P>SOLUTION: This hot water storage-type water heater comprises the horizontally long hot water storage tank 4 connected to a water inlet pipe 7 and a hot water outlet pipe 5 and storing the water, and a heating means 2 for heating the water in the hot water storage tank 4. A water supply auxiliary pipe 9 communicating with the water inlet pipe 7 for supplying the water, is longitudinally extended on a bottom part of the hot water storage tank 4, further a baffle plate 10 expanded left and right is mounted on the water supply auxiliary pipe 9, and a water supply hole 11 composed of a plurality of small holes is formed on the water supply auxiliary pipe 9 at a lower part with respect to the baffle plate 10, whereby the rising force is weakened by the baffle plate even though the water supplied in the hot water storage tank is apt to straightly rise on an outer periphery of the water supply auxiliary pipe, and is spread outward to prevent the formation of the water flow, the boundary face of the hot water and the cold water can be properly kept without being broken, and the stored water of high temperature can be supplied as it is until the end. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
