<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a connector for a flat conductor for securing sure contact with a terminal satisfying the need for lower height. <P>SOLUTION: The connector is provided with a housing 2 fitted with a plurality of grooves 3a, 3b, 3c, a pressing member 8 supported to the housing 2 in free turning, a support axis 7 linked to a rear end part and fitted to a whole width of the pressing member, and a bearing part with which a part of the contactor housed in the groove 3a of the housing 2 supports the upper part of the support axis 7. With this, sure contact with a flat conductor terminal can be secured, and at the same time, lowering of height is made possible by a part of the contactor 4 supporting the upper part of the support axis 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
