<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release position adjusting device for a foot pedal in a vehicle adjustable in the release position of the pedal, at a low cost with simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: This release position adjusting device for the foot pedal in the vehicle is provided with an adjusting lever 10, a locking member 20 and a brake pedal 30. The adjusting lever is attached to a bracket 90 fixed to a vehicle body, rotatably around a lateral axis. A top plate 13 of the adjusting lever is formed in circular arc shaped cross section around the rotation axis, and the top plate is provided with five positioning holes 13a lined up in a direction along the circular arc. The locking member is supported to the bracket and engaged into the positioning holes of the adjusting lever to be able to lock the adjusting lever in three angle positions. A brake arm 31 with the brake pedal 30 fixed to the lower end is attached to the adjusting lever rotatably around the lateral axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
