PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of easily indicating whether the present driving condition will suffice or not when arrival at a destination at a prescribed time is required. SOLUTION: An operation part 18 processing a necessary running position for arriving within a desired time, acquires the desired time for arriving at a destination inputted by a user, and operates a position necessary to be running at present, a dummy mark representing and processing part 10 displays the dummy mark corresponding position on a guiding pathway on a monitor screen while moving for every prescribed time or prescribed running distance. At this time, an estimated arriving time at the destination under the present driving condition is displayed, and also a distance and running time to the dummy mark are displayed, thereby capability of arriving at the destination within the desired time is clearly indicated. If a difficulty in arriving within the desired time is discriminated, another guiding pathway utilizing a highway capable of arriving within the desired time is calculated and presented to the user.
