PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stacked multichip inkjet head comprising three or more head chips stacked in a single inkjet head housing while facing the side face each other, and to obtain an inkjet printer in which the size is reduced by making thinner the inkjet head. SOLUTION: A manifold 30 is provided with a male channel joint 30b having an ink inlet 30a to the manifold disposed on the outside of a region between two head chips 32 and 32 holding the manifold between.
