PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device capable of suppressing interference between a wall of an automated warehouse and a stacker crane by preventing a lifting motor or the like from projecting from the stacker crane. SOLUTION: A traveling truck 2 of the stacker crane 1 is provided with travel driving means 20, 20 for driving wheels 9, and a lifting driving means 35 for lifting a lifting base 4. Both driving means 20, 35 are arranged so that the longitudinal direction of both driving means 20, 35 is almost parallel with the travel direction of the traveling truck 2. The traveling truck 2 is provided with a pair of frames 17, 17 disposed with a prescribed space, and a plurality of connecting members 18 for connecting both frames 17, 17. Both driving means 20, 35 are arranged outside the frames 17, and the wheels 9, 9 are disposed at the front and rear of the travel truck 2. The travel driving means 20 is connected to each wheel 9, and a lifting pulley 34 of the lifting base 4 is disposed between the front and rear wheels 9, 9.
