PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the occurrence of failure in a controller. SOLUTION: This multiple control system is provided with an oscillator 1 for outputting a reference pulse signal, a counter 2A for counting the number of pulses included in the reference pulse signal, and for outputting a clock pulse signal each time the counted number of pulses reaches the predetermined number of pulses, a first pulse counter 5 for counting the number of pulses included in the clock pulse signal, and for outputting the counted number of pulses, and a majority collating circuit 4B for performing the majority operation of each waveform data of both pulse signals based on the waveform data of both pulse signals, and for outputting the obtained majority pulse signal. Furthermore, this system is provided with a second pulse counter 6 for counting the number of pulses included in the majority pulse signal, and for outputting the number of pulses and a count value comparator circuit 7 for calculating the relative difference of both the number of pulses, and for deciding whether or not the relative difference is present within a predetermined range.
