PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording head in a thermal inkjet printer in which good ejection of ink liquid drops from nozzles can be sustained over a long term by greatly suppressing occurrence of kogation. SOLUTION: Heating elements in an inkjet recording head ejecting ink in ink chambers from nozzles by heating ink with heat from the heating elements are subjected to surface treatment with N-acyl sarcosinate of RCON(CH3)CH2COO-X+(R is a higher alkyl radical, X+ is a counter ion of carboxy radical) represented by formula (1).
