PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a temperature rise of an excitation coil 3 and to evenly apply silicone oil 304 to a fixation roller 1 in a fixing device of induction heating system. SOLUTION: The silicone oil 304 is supplied to one end in the longitudinal direction of a holder 200 provided inside the fixation roller 1, discharged from the other end in the longitudinal direction of the holder 200 while being immersed in the excitation coil 3 in the fixation roller 1 and after that, applied to the outer peripheral surface of the fixation roller 1. In this case, the silicone oil 304 absorbs heat of the excitation coil 3, is heated and warmed up by the heat from the fixation roller 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
