摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fracture toughness measuring apparatus capable of detecting the opening displacement of a specimen with high response even in a fracture toughness test under high temperature environments and accurately providing fracture toughness values by detecting the opening displacement without causing a detection limit resulting from the size of the detection hole of a heating furnace. SOLUTION: This fracture toughness value measuring apparatus comprises a displacement detector 18 detecting the displacement of a specimen installation tool 16b installed in a workpiece W loading mechanism 14 or between the loading mechanism 14 and the workpiece W and a correction calculation means 31 correcting an output from the displacement detector 18 to an opening displacement by using the pre-stored relation of a deformed amount of a displacement detection portion on the apparatus side by a test force detected by the displacement detector 18. Thus, even when the fracture toughness value measuring test is used by storing the workpiece W in the heating furnace 17, the opening displacement in the state of substantially non-contact with the workpiece W can be detected on the outside of the heating furnace 17.
