PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently change the pressure of a fluid to be changed in pressure by providing a turning rotation preventing means with a phase adjusting means in a scroll fluid machine having the rotation preventing means. SOLUTION: A stator 2 is fixed to a casing 1, and a rotating shaft 4 is rotatably supported to the casing 1. A rotor 5 is fixed to the rotating shaft 4, and a pivot 8 is eccentrically supported in a rotatable manner to the rotating shaft 4 through bearings 6, 7. A fixed plate 18 is fixed to the pivot 8, and a rotating plate 19 is supported to the fixed plate 18 rotatably around the center line of the pivot 8. The fixed plate 18 is provided with an oblong hole 20, and a bolt 21 is passed through the oblong hole 20 and screwed with an internal thread provided at the rotating plate 19. Three pin cranks 10 are provided between the casing 1 and the rotating plate 19. The fixed scroll 11 is fixed to the casing 1, and the turning scroll 12 is mounted to the upper part of the pivot 8.
