PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forklift making it possible to go into and out of a refrigerated warehouse without soiling a shield screen. SOLUTION: In the forklift, an upper guide roller 10 for guiding an inner mast 6 in rising and falling is supported against the upper portion of an outer mast 5 in such a manner as to protrude out of the upper surface and the front surface of the outer mast 5. A guide roller 14 covering the upper guide roller 10 from its front is supported against the outer mast 5. Thus, when the forklift pushes the shield screen away, the shield screen is received by the guide roller cover 14 and kept out of contact with the upper guide roller 10 to prevent grease on the surface of the upper guide roller 10 from sticking to the shield screen.
