PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle roof in which a structure of an opening/closing mechanism is simple, and the opening/closing mechanism can be manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: The vehicle roof comprises two roof openings 2 and 2 formed in a roof panel 1, a center part 4 disposed between the roof openings, and roof lids 5 and 6 to open/close the roof openings. The vehicle roof further comprises first upper and lower slider guideways 11 and 12a; 13 and 14a, and first end parts 7 and 8 of the roof lids 5 and 6 close to the center part 4 can be guided along the first upper and lower slider guideways so as to be slidable in the perpendicular direction to the roof opening plane and in the parallel direction to the roof opening plane and to the center part plane inside the vehicle. The vehicle roof still further comprises the second slider guideways 12b and 14b, and second end parts 9 and 10 of each roof lid opposite to the center part 4 can be guided along the second slider guideways so as to be slidable substantially parallel to the roof opening plane.
