PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a rim wheel which suppresses the vibration transmitted to a vehicle while ensuring high steering stability, improves the ride quality, reduces in-cabin noise, and reduces troubles such as defective welding with high productivity. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a rim wheel which comprises a rim 2, a longitudinal wall 3 and a lid member 5, has a plurality of sub air chambers 6 divided by a plurality of bulkheads 9, has a communication part 8 in the lid member 5, and constitutes a Helmholz resonance air-absorber comprising the sub air chambers 6 and the communication part 8 comprises steps of: (a) integrally molding the longitudinal wall 3 with the rim 2 when casting the rim wheel 1; (b) fixing the bulkhead 9 to the rim 2 and the longitudinal wall 3 by using rubber-based adhesive, and (c) stretching the lid member 5 between the longitudinal wall 3 and a bead seat 4 and fixing it thereto.
