PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently print on an intermediate transferring body, to prevent a phenomenon such as beading, bleeding which may be created on the intermediate transferring body even when a color image is formed, and to form a high quality color image even on a recording medium that the ink image is already transferred. SOLUTION: The method of forming an image comprises a process (i) for forming an image on the intermediate transferring body having a surface with ink-repellency by applying ink to the surface by using an inkjet recorder and a process (ii) for transferring the image formed in the process (i) to a recording medium.
