PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction method which can stably produce the objective by accurately controlling reaction conditions in performing a chemical reaction in a liquid state by dropping a reactant (2) to a reaction solution (1), to provide a spray-type dropping device desirable for practicing the reaction method, and to provide a chemical reaction plant. SOLUTION: The reaction method comprises spraying the liquid reactant (2) to the reaction solution (1) contained in a reaction tank. The spray-type dropping device sprays the reactant (2) to the reaction solution (1) and has a feed part that feeds the reactant (2) and a dousing part that has a plurality of small holes and sprays the liquid reactant (2) sent from the feed part after the reactant (2) is passed through the holes. The chemical reaction plant is provided with a storage tank that stores the reactant (2), a reaction tank 3 that holds the reaction solution (1), and the spraying dropping device.
