PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form synthetic resin coating on both side ends of a metallic member with a small amount of thermal energy by a high frequency heating apparatus. SOLUTION: The metallic member 9 is carried while it is flatly mounted on a conveyer 8, and a method of forming synthetic coating comprises a pre-heating process of heating both side ends 99, 99' of the metallic member 9 to a predetermined temperature by the high frequency heating apparatus 2, 2', an adhesion process of proceeding both the side ends 99, 99' into heap of a thermoplastic synthetic resin powder formed by supply devices 5, 5' while both the side ends 99, 99' are heated in the vicinity of a melting point of the thermoplastic synthetic resin and adhering the thermoplastic synthetic resin powder to both the side ends 99, 99', a reheating process of reheating parts to which the thermoplastic synthetic resin powder adheres by a hot-blast generation device 3, 3', and a cooling process of cooling respective parts of both the side ends 99, 99' to which a thermoplastic synthetic resin material is uniformly fused in the reheating process.
