PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mahjong table capable of securely receiving data transmitted from mahjong chips and also capable of processing the received data at high speed. SOLUTION: An RF tag is built into each mahjong chip 12 used for the mahjong table 10. A plurality of transmitting antennas 24 and a plurality of receiving antennae 28 are provided in each storing box 14 for storing the chips 12. Mahjong chip signals generated from each chip 12 can be securely received along with a storing box identifier. During playing of a mahjong game, only mahjong chip identifiers are received so as to grasp states of the mahjong chips 12 stored in each storing box 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
