<p>An organic electroluminescence display comprising a substrate and luminescence pars formed on the substrate and each including an organic electroluminescence element and an organic thin-film transistor connected to the corresponding organic electroluminescence element, wherein each organic electroluminescence element has a pair of opposed electrodes and an organic material layer including an organic luminescence layer formed between the paired electrodes. Each organic transistor has opposed source and drain electrodes, an organic semiconductor film so formed as to form a channel between the source and drain electrodes, and a gate electrode for imposing an electric field across the organic semiconductor film between the source and drain electrodes. Each luminescence part has a source/drain insulating film for preventing short-circuit between the source and drain electrodes, a protective insulating film for protecting the organic semiconductor film, and pixel insulating film covering the peripheral portion of one of the electrodes of each organic electroluminescence element. At least two of the source/drain insulating film, the protective insulating film, and the pixel insulating film are made of the same dielectric material.</p> |
