PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information device and an information system, which includes a plurality of personal identification information and can have second and third defense functions against leakage of personal identification information, and to provide a control method therefor, and a program.

SOLUTION: A liquid crystal panel 4 for setting functions of a terminal device is prepared in the front of an information device 1, and a password number is set on the liquid crystal panel 4. A user who will set functions of the terminal device 1 brings fingers into contact with a personal identification part 4 which is installed in the front of the information device and can specify and identify persons, to previously register his or her fingerprints as personal information. When the user puts his or her fingers on the personal identification part in order to set functions of the terminal device like a sensor, personal identification of discriminating whether the user is a personal information registerer or not is performed. When it is discriminated as a result that the user is a personal information registerer, a picture for setting is displayed on the liquid crystal panel.
