摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device having liquid crystal display elements of a flip chip system which can deal with changes in the kinds of driving IC chips.

SOLUTION: The display device has a substrate SUB 1 mounted with driving ICs on the periphery of a display section. A plurality of scanning signal lines and a plurality of video signal lines intersecting therewith through insulating films are respectively arranged in juxtaposition on the substrate SUB 1. The surface of the substrate SUB 1 of the regions mounted with the driving ICs is provided with a common wiring SHc for commonly connecting signal lines DTM extending from the vide signal lines or the scanning signal lines of the respective driving ICs there-on. An input wiring Td connected to input terminals IP for the respective driving ICs and a wiring Td connected to the common wiring SHC are arranged side by side on the substrate SUB 1. The input wiring Td and the wiring Td consist of substantially similar configuration.
