PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To damp with ease the axial vibration of the shaft of an exhaust turbine supercharger. SOLUTION: This exhaust turbine supercharger 1 is provided with a housing and the shaft 2 rotatably arranged on front and rear shafts in the housing. A turbine impeller 4 and a compressor impeller 3 are arranged on the shaft, and the shaft is guided into radial bearings 5, 6 and at least one thrust bearing 9. At that time, the radial bearings 5, 6 designed as a passive permanent magnetic bearing are provided with supporting disks 12, 16 arranged on the shaft 2 and serving as a rotor, and at least one of stators 19, 20, 21, 22 whose at least one side is axially opposed to the rotor.
