PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intramedullary nail capable of surely preventing the rotation to the fracture part of a capitular part without damaging bones into which a lag screw and an antirotation means are driven. SOLUTION: The intramedullary nail(1) comprises: a rod-like nail (2) to be driven into the lumen of the femur (73); a first through-hole (15) obliquely pierced in the middle of the nail; a second through-hole (16) obliquely pierced in the nail more on a proximal part side than the first through-hole and provided with three peak parts (31, 32, and 33); the lag screw (4) provided with a screw (11) to be screwed to the capitular part (71) on a tip and inserted to the first through-hole; and the antirotation means (5) for which a blade part (20) is formed at the tip and which is inserted to the second through-hole and provided with three peak parts (41, 42, and 17). The tip lower part (5a) of the antirotation means inserted to the second through-hole is in contact with the upper end part (11a) of the screw. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
