PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera wherein miniaturization and cost reduction are realized, when image signal processing, speech recognition processing and speech synthesis processing are performed using DSP. SOLUTION: In the digital camera, wherein the signal processing of input images and signal processing of input speech are performed by DSP of a program stored system, a program for picture signal processing and a program for speech signal processing are installed in a program storage device 12. The program for image signal processing and the program for speech signal processing are switched, when they are used; and image signal processing and speech signal processing are executed.
