PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately correct distortion aberrations and curvature of the field with a lens of single element configuration with both surfaces formed in a convex shape. SOLUTION: The imaging lens 10 is constituted by forming both of the surface 10a on which the light from a subject is made incident and a second surface 10b which emits the incident light from the first surface to the convex surface. The lens is provided with a diaphragm on the first surface 10a side and the second surface 10b is formed to a aspheric shape satisfying respective characteristics, thereby adequately correcting the distortion aberrations and the curvature of the field.
