PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion control method and device for a tubular flame burner performing the stable combustion in a wider range of combustion load, with respect to the tubular flame burner forming the flame revolving in a tubular combustion chamber. SOLUTION: Four in total of fuel gas blowing nozzles 11a, 11c, 13a, 13c mounted in two rows in the tube axial direction two by two on the same tube circumference, and four in total of oxygen-containing gas blowing nozzles 11b, 11d, 13b, 13d are selectively used to obtain a proper gas blowing speed to the combustion chamber 10 in accordance with the combustion load.
