PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen atomization area for ultrasonic wave on a liquid face of liquid to atomize a large amount of liquid efficiently. SOLUTION: An inclined support member 4 is attached inside a vessel 1 storing liquid 2, and ultrasonic transducer 3 is mounted on the inclined support member 4 so that ultrasonic wave 3a irradiated from the ultrasonic transducer 3 is obliquely irradiated for the liquid face 2a of liquid 2. Consequently, convergence scope in the vicinity of liquid face of ultrasonic wave 3a is widened. As a result, atomization effective scope A of ultrasonic wave 3a is widened to atomize a large amount of liquid 2 efficiently. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
