PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-blast circuit-breaker disposed in a pipe in which gas such as combustion gas flows, wherein a gas flow passage can be secured again if a temperature returns to a normal temperature. SOLUTION: The gas-blast circuit-breaker comprises: a cutoff valve 8 disposed in the gas flow passage; and valve operation mechanisms 10, 12 operating the cutoff valve 8 so that the gas flow passage is closed when the temperature is threshold value or higher and is opened when the temperature is threshold value or lower.
