PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying container for easily enhancing the strength of a container body by effectively reinforcing a side wall while reducing the weight of the container. SOLUTION: The folding carrying container as the carrying container comprises a container body 11 having a bottom wall 12 and pairs of side walls 13 and 14 facing each other erected along a peripheral edge of the bottom wall 12. In addition, a turning means (a bearing part 23 and a rotary shaft part 24) is provided on lower end parts of the side walls 13 and 14, and the container body 11 is foldable. A center part side wall projecting part 51 and an upper side wall projecting part 52 which are swollen outward of the container body 11 are provided on a center part of a wall surface and an upper end part of the side walls 14. A lower vertical rib 53 is protruded from an outer side surface of the center part side wall projecting part, an upper vertical rib 54 is protruded from an inner side surface of the upper side wall projecting part 52, and the vertical ribs 53 and 54 extend in a vertically continuous manner.
