PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which cleanly shows variation of a pattern upon urination to enable an infant to easily understand the condition. SOLUTION: This disposable diaper is made by interposing an absorptive body 4 between a liquid permeable inner face sheet 3 and a liquid impermeable translucent waterproof sheet 15. A variable pattern 22 which varies upon contacting water or a urine component is formed on the inside face of the waterproof sheet 15 in contact with the absorptive body 4. An invariable pattern 21 is formed on the outside face of the waterproof sheet 15 or a back sheet 16 to a further outside. The variable pattern 22 and the invariable pattern 21 are mutually related to constitute a unified pattern 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
