PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive, small-sized and highly usable vacuum cleaner by realizing a low pressure DC power source by an inexpensive means. SOLUTION: The inexpensive and highly usable vacuum cleaner comprises: a second output shaft 46 which is the same as the first output shaft 23 of a motor-driven blower 4 for generating suction air or is connected to the first output shaft 23; a rotor 45 constituted of a core 48 disposed and wound around the second output shaft 46 and a commutator 49 to which the coil end of a winding wire 47 is locked; a pair of brushes 50 in contact with the commutator 49; and a power generator 55 constituted of the permanent magnet 52 of a desired pole number provided facing the core of the rotor 45.
