METHOD FOR JOINING PIPE-SHAPED ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mutually joining pipe-shaped articles made of a resin member firmly to each other by laser welding by irradiating both articles with laser beams.

SOLUTION: The end parts of the pipe-shaped articles each comprising a laser beam permeable resin member are butted together while being pressed through a flange comprising a laser beam absorbing resin member, and they are irradiated with laser beams from one end sides of the pipe-shaped articles to be laser-welded. Polyamide 11 or polyamide 12 is used as the laser beam permeable resin member.
