<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network camera system having a file server, an image distribution type network camera capable of transferring image data to the file server, and a terminal capable of browsing the image data transferred to the file server whereby a photographed image by the camera can be browsed in real time even in the case that the file server and the terminal are interconnected and utilized on the network such as a LAN. <P>SOLUTION: The terminal has a transmission means for transmitting prescribed data to the network camera, and the network camera has a distribution control means that images an image and distributes the imaged image to the file server when the network camera receives prescribed data from the terminal, the prescribed data being an ICMP ECHO_REQUEST packet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
