<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an identification medium issuing method that prevents overissuing of a plurality of same identification media when issuing the medium and increases management efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: Based on personal data registered with a host computer 1, the method records personal identification information, except an expiration date, on a magnetic card via a card issuing apparatus 2, prints predetermined information on the surface of the magnetic card, and issues it as an identification medium. The method confirms the contents recorded and printed on the issued identification medium based on personal data displayed on a confirmation terminal 3 and, after that, records an expiration date, which is not recorded, on the magnetic card via a reader/writer 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
