PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonvolatile semiconductor storage device capable of preparing an address table of a defective block and shortening a time for detecting the defective block and to provide a system for incorporating the nonvolatile semiconductor storage device, and a defective block detecting method.

SOLUTION: Page buffers 100 read data of memory cells 42 in a block unit for each memory cell column in a block to be an object for detecting flag data and latch the data. A detection circuit 28 detects the flag data for each block on the basis of outputs of the page buffers for one block.
