<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a lithographic printing plate with a plate wearability through press development by employing a stable and highly sensitive lithographic printing original plate. <P>SOLUTION: In the lithographic printing original plate having an image forming layer including microcapsules, each of which consisting of a shell made of a polymer and a core made of a polymerizable compound, and a hydrophilic support, a polymer with a main chain including an azo bond is employed as the shell polymer so as to thermally decompose the shell polymer in a platemaking process in order to radical-polymerize the polymerizable compound with a radical generated through the decomposition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
