<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cassette tape player capable of achieving low costs. <P>SOLUTION: A cassette detection means 31 is constituted of a casing 31b disposed to be displaced, and an operation member 31c arranged in the casing 31b and pressed by a cassette C partially projected from the casing 31b to a cassette loading part and loaded to execute a switching operation.
