PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a battery from going dead when a navigation system for automobile is in standby mode. SOLUTION: When a voltage is of a prescribed voltage or less based on the DC voltage of the battery, a temperature is out of a specific temperature range based on a temperature detected by a temperature sensor, or it is X minutes before the set time of standby mode runs out after the setting of the standby mode, it is determined that the conditions of for being released from the standby mode are met.
