PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge which can be mounted by a small mounting force and with a large room, and to surely prevent air bubbles from being mixed into a recording head by holding a dead space as small as possible and high hermeticities with the recording head. SOLUTION: In the ink cartridge provided with an ink feeding hole communicating with the recording head and hooking with an ink feeding needle 50 provided with a tapered part 51 on its apex, a packing member 30 with a tapered part 32 expanding in the inserting direction of the ink feeding needle 50 is provided in a direction where the side facing the ink feeding hole is tapered down toward the tip.
