PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing method in which high quality images can be printed by preventing a pattern caused by a periodicity of a dot arrangement from becoming noise such as streaks to appear on an image when a plurality of different dot arrangements are used by every predetermined unit for the same level of input image data, and to provide a printing apparatus, a program and a storage medium. SOLUTION: When the input image data quantized to a multi-value level is allotted to the dot arrangement of M×N as a pseudo halftone process, a matrix of A×B which is a combination of every plurality of a plurality of different dot arrangements in a raster direction and a column direction for the same level of the input image data is used.
