PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of a trace process of a control program. SOLUTION: Whereas all addresses to be traced are registered in the case of a conventional address coincidence start register 403a, a start address of the address coincidence start register 403a after trace completion is changed to the next start address to be traced in this application, so that the need of determining whether or not the trace is necessary is obviated up to the address of trace completion. That is to say, by removing a control program having collected trace data once from the trace object range, address coincidence is not detected by a control program address having already collected the trace data, so that unnecessary determination processes can be omitted, the overhead of trace data collection in a part repeatedly executed such as loop control is reduced and the load of this computer system is relieved.
