PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture medium composition for diagnosing infection in the oral cavity, which can be mixed easily and uniformly by adding a saliva specimen, which can easily and simply diagnose infection in the oral cavity, and which allows an objective and quantitative diagnosis, while providing convenience in its manufacture or distribution, because of its fluidity being low. SOLUTION: The culture medium composition for diagnosing infection in the oral cavity includes a nutrition source for bacteria or fungi and a coloring agent and has low fluidity, in which the water content is 0.20-0.45 times with respect to the mass of the nutrition source.
