PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency heating device for automatically discriminating the food with a simple constitution, and performing the automatic heating of good finish. SOLUTION: A kind of a heated matter is discriminated by checking out the shape, an upper face area and a weight of the heated matter obtained on the basis of a distribution of a temperature of the heated matter placed on a loading space during heating, detected by an infrared sensor against the database, whereby the heating sequence corresponding to the kind of heating can be executed.
